The impression cylinder on this machine revolved continuously on the printing stroke thus necessitating a manual impression throw-off. Ample time was available for the sheet to 'settle' (ensuring accurate register) whilst the cylinder was stationary on the return stroke. Two sets of delivery grippers turned sheets over and deposited them onto the pile face up.
